Shipwreck Whale #3648

$125.00

This is driftwood that I found on the beach, but it is also so much more. This plank came from a ship that sank around 1900 off Plum Island. You can still see the wooden pegs and peg holes that were used in construction. When oak turns black like this all the way through that means it’s been in the ocean for more than 100 years. This was possibly a living tree in the 1700s! So rare to find ancient shipwreck timbers. This one is 33 inches long and 6 inches wide. Signed, dated, hardware ready to hang.
